introducing the $3,000 policy year maximum for DVH
Introducing The Dental, Vision, And Hearing $3,000 Policy Year Maximum

A quarter of a million policies ago, we issued our first Dental, Vision and Hearing policy. As we wrap-up our full fifth-year and look to our sixth since introducing the product, I am happy to announce a Policy Year Benefit increase.

I must admit I sometimes chuckle when I see carrier announcements about new or enhanced products that carry the tagline…” You Asked, and We Listened.” Candidly, I don’t find that to be novel at all. I think back to most any product we launch or enhance, and it is because of agent feedback and input. That is a normal week from my viewpoint.

Over the past few years we have some very flattering comments from some of our competitors regarding our DVH product. Those comments came not via email or phone calls but via product introductions that looked strikingly familiar to our DVH. Imitation is, indeed, a form of flattery.

As we focus on the upcoming fourth quarter, I am pleased to announce that our current Policy Year Maximums of $1,000 and $1,500 are now complemented by a $3,000 Policy Year option. Yes, some asked for $2,000 and we did listen. We also listened to a growing call for a $3,000 option and so the $3,000 option will be available in select states beginning on September 1, 2020. Those states include:

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Louisiana, Oklahoma, South Dakota, West Virginia and Wyoming.

These states will be available to quote via Manhattan Direct 2.0 enrollment platform beginning Tuesday, September 8th. As other states are approved (17 more have been filed) they will be added to the quoting platform and an announcement will be sent.

Please note that any request to change from one Policy Year amount to another can only be processed on the Policy Year anniversary.
